Fellowship at Bernard L. Schwartz Communication Institute, Baruch

The Bernard L. Schwartz Communication Institute at Baruch is offering a Communication Fellowship for qualified applicants who have substantial research and grant writing experience. This fellowship will pay approximately $23,000/yr and include full family health, dental and prescription benefits for qualified applicants (on a modified college assistant line).

If interested, please forward a CV and a cover letter via email to Dr. Mikhail Gershovich, Director, Bernard L. Schwartz Communication Institute. Mikhail.Gershovich@baruch.cuny.edu (646 312 2062).

There is one opening for Fall 2009 (renewable for Spring 2010) for a Fellow to research external funding opportunities and prepare grant applications for the Institute’s current and future projects, including those in Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC), program assessment, qualitative research, and instructional technology. In addition to research and grant writing experience, eligible applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree, and be enrolled in a doctoral program. The ideal candidate will also be self-motivated, be able to work independently, have a flexible schedule and experience in teaching and Communication-Across-the-Curriculum (written, oral, and computer mediated communication). Former CUNY Writing and Tech Fellows are encouraged to apply.
