Intellectual Property

CUNY's policy on intellectual property (approved by the Board of Trustees in 2002) defines how intellectual property produced by CUNY faculty is to be owned, distributed, and commercialized. This important document is available here:

Integration and Synthesis proposal

Efforts to rebuild general education at Queens College continue. The latest chapter involves creating an upper-level requirement: Synthesis and Integration courses.

A proposal passed by the UCC will be brought to the Academic Senate at its upcoming November 13 meeting.

Questions about this proposal, ahead of the meeting, should be directed to the UCC Chair, Ken Lord.

Online course evaluations: The system is live

Following a vote by faculty and students in the Academic Senate, all course evaluations will be online this semester. The questionnaire is exactly the same as in past years, but this semester students will fill it out and submit it electronically. The period for evaluations this semester is November 24 to December 11.
