From an email received by QC Turnitin users on July 24, 2008, from the Turnitin and OCT staff:

On Thursday, August 7, 2008, the new Turnitin interface will be launched to all Turnitin customers in the US, EU and Canada. The new interface has been in Beta testing since April, 2008. Feedback from thousands of users has been incorporated into the new design. Many users have switched to using the new interface exclusively and love the new look and feel of their Turnitin service.

At this time, Turnitin customers from outside of the US, EU and Canada will not be automatically switched but can access the new interface using the "Try the new Turnitin" link that appears at the top of their Turnitin accounts.

To help customers learn to get the most out of the new interface our training department will be hosting weekly WebEx sessions through the months of August and September. For information regarding attending one of these sessions, or to have a session specially tailored for your institution's training needs, please contact your Turnitin sales representative. Please note, while do not believe many users will wish to switch back to the old Turnitin, we are giving users the option of switching back to the old version using a link that will appear at the top of their Turnitin account.
