What are your strategies for teaching mathematics problem solving and quantitative reasoning?

The Integrating Mathematics Across the Curriculum (IMAC) Teaching and Learning Taskforce, made up of faculty from Mathematics and other disciplines that depend on mathematical competencies, and Directors of Centers for Teaching and Learning, invites you to contribute to a Guide for Instructors, to be completed by Summer 2008 and made available online (www.cuny.edu/IMAC) and in print. Our goal is to create a way for CUNY faculty to share their insights and successes with one another. To be considered for inclusion in the 2008 Guide, your response must be received by April 30th.
