| Chunks of text on a web page that, when clicked, take you to another web page are called "hyperlinks", or "links" for short. It's easy to make hyperlinks in your own blog entries. The first thing you'll need is the URL, or web address, of the page you'll be linking to. An easy way to get this is by copying it from the Address bar in your browser while you're visiting the page and choosing Copy (Ctrl-C). | ![]() |
| On the "Create New Entry" page, highlight the text you want to be clickable. Then click the button with a picture of a chain on it above the entry box (chain...link...get it?) | ![]() |
| Paste the URL into the box that appears (right-click-->Paste or Ctrl-V). | ![]() |
| The text you selected to be clickable will now be surrounded by a bunch of code. Publish, save, and rebuild to see the results. | ![]() |
| That code has been transformed, through the magic of technology, into a hyperlink. Click to test. | ![]() |
