Though the man on the television set tells me so, I know it must be, to say I must begin here, a few general remarks to start with. I have been well prepared, knowing what time the sun begins, where California is, the just understood knowledge that there are people, that's what we are, on the television sets and the books they have told me all of this.

Where in the World is Stanton Street

It was the better part of two decades ago now. Wacko was burning. The Towers got bombed the first time and we didn't see. It was different then, but then again, it always is.

Its been nearly sixteen years since Jesus was lost and the devil stopped, though the murder wasn't my biggest lose that year. There was Ron Lee who came, and left through chemistry, culture, and complacency. It would be an education.

As I write this, it is advisable, it seems by way of introduction, to say names have been changed but essential facts still remain, as best as I can and am willing to reconstruct them. These things do happen, I just can't always write about them.

Old Books Report

Looking over some of the blogs I read and commented on, there was discussion about keeping and writing a journal, how easy it is to start and stop them, but how hard to keep with the discipline, how this gets harder as we get older. In keeping with that, I took a couple of entries from one of many summers I spent as a kid in Pennsylvania and typed them up as a kind of memory trip. I changed a few verbs and things, spelling a bit.

How is it this was so easy to do and now takes so much effort?
