The overwhelming reality of my consciousness today and this week has been my technological and generational difficulties with online realities seeing that I go to these cafes and can or can't get to my blog or my email or in that sense my soul, thinking there is some basis for the glich but must understand that often, that is the way it is, despite pleading with the wireless networks, nothing can be done.

Jenna, I'm sympathetic. It seems since I started grad school I have been plagued, but then again, I don't want to be too dramatic.

In response to the Psych 801 blog I chose an entry that was responding to Lyman's Article which dealt with hallucination and dementia as far as I can tell.

Woolf's novel, may be infuriating to some, but it still reads beautifully, if less radically now than it did in 1925. Critical responses change as new information is added to our historical lexicon and as public opinions change regarding the importance of any given work.

The overwhelming sense today for this spill is my distinct immobility of thought as, instead of any empty apt. for my studio, my "other" is here, working and making phone calls to some of her clients and getting gossip calls from her girfriends.

It is Literature, Cognition and the Brain. This has a provocative title. Given the confines of our class, I chose this for obvious reasons.

I found the book did indeed shed light, in a clear, entertaining way, on the implications of cognitive science and use of these ideas in literary criticism. I enjoyed this book and agree with her basic premise, that ToM allows us to create and enjoy narratives, regardless of the form these narratives may take.

It is 1925 now so by way of review, and by way of what has, until recently, been known as the rules of genteel society, I’ll defend my colleague Arnold Bennett while also and without much effort, critiquing Mrs. Woolf’s new novel Mrs. Dalloway.
