Lost Dog

One of my neighbor's dogs, a Yorkshire Terrier named Tequila, has been lost for about a month now. I have a dog of my own, so I know how upset my neighbor must be about it. Anyway, I've been keeping my eyes peeled for her.
Last week, I dreamed that me and my dog Rocky were playing in the park. For no particular reason, I remembered my neighbor's lost dog, and started to call out her name. "Tequila! Tequila! Where are you?!" This continued for awhile. The park turned into a beach. Then I thought I heard something. I told Rocky to sniff out the little dog. "Come on, boy. You can find her. Use that sniffer of yours. You're a hunting dog."
There were a row of bushes on the boardwalk. I suspected that this might be where Tequila was hiding. "All right, Rocky. Go get her."
And my dog ran off his leash and jumped on a bush. Out scampered the little Yorkie! I cheered and wondered whether I would get a reward for finding the precious pup.

ENGLISH TEACHER:

Wow. I would say this is wish fulfillment 101. As a seasoned dog lover, I wish that the dog be returned safely as well. Interesting that your dog found the other dog. Perhaps its such because you have no control over finding the dog and it may frustrate you :/.

Scott Cheshire:

I think States would really enjoy the "Tequila"/"beach" splice. Maybe I'm pushing it, but it seems rather suggestive to me. At least, if I hear the word tequila, beach is what I think of--in fact, maybe even think specifically of the Corona beach commercials. Where would you have gone had the dog's name been Whiskey?

Lady Hira:

I like Scott's point! I wonder if the dog has been found by now. And did you tell your neighbor about this dream? Or maybe it's not such a good idea to do that..? Hehe.. you and your dog make a good team though! And what type of name is tequila for a dog? (Okay, let me not be judgemental now...). Well, I hope the dog has been found! =]

AK:

Scott's point is really interesting. I tend to think of tropical beaches specifically when I hear the word tequila. Wonder if we've all got places associated with our liquors in our brains.

Anyway, I also hope your neighbor's dog has been found!
