Last night I had a dream that I was getting married to my boyfriend. I think we just decided to get hitched because everything felt very caotic and unplanned. There were a lot of family and friends there, one of which was Jimmy's younger brother. I haven't seen him in a while so I went over to say hello, and noticed that he was rolling a joint at the table next to my grandmother. I looked again to make sure and this time it seemed that it wasn't weed all over the table but cocaine. This kind of scared me so I went to find Jimmy. I found Jimmy, all pissed off because his parents didn't show up (they don't like our relationship), and I got so tangled up in looking for his parents that I forgot about his brother.

Perhaps the reason why you had a dream about getting hitched with your boyfriend in a very disorganized manner is because your boyfriend's family does not approve of your relationship with him. If they do not approve, that means that it will most likely be difficult or at least not accepted if you two get married. Well, at least this seems like the case to me as I can see from what you have written. Perhaps you are worried about what will happen if your relationship with him advances further? Do you feel that you are ready to get married though? (Of course this is personal and need not be answered). But I hope that everything works out for you! =]

The dream of getting hitched does seem like a sort of answer to your boyfriend's family dislike of your relationship. But the joint seemed like another escape, where you look for his parents but never find them.
After reading your dream, I just had the urge to say "slow down" and I have no clue why...

Jimmy's brother rolling cocaine provided a distraction from the issues surrounding you and your boyfriend's impending wedding. Like recreational drugs can often do. But the fact that your grandmother was present is another cause for concern. Despite Jimmy's parents being no-shows, you seemed have the support you needed.

I think you and your b/f should use this dream to maybe at least express any family obstacles that may rise if you decide to get married.
Dreams are very often your emotions, and using them as a sign to talk or get it out of your system is not a bad decision, it may help.
Jimmy seems like a movie character to me, lol.

Haha rolling a joint next to your grandmother...lol
Have you been thinking about "getting hitched" lately?? This could be why you dreamed about it...but also, you being scared of the cocaine, maybe that meant that you are scared of this whole thing happening, and especially Jimmy's parent's not liking your relationship...
You know, though, this also could mean that all these problems are laid out on the table for you to just do what you want, knowing what it would entail, so you don't have to worry anymore...good luck with whatever happens! lol =)
