The conference is already finished, but I have to say that I was quite nervous about it. I mean I have done presentations before, but I get somewhat nervous when people ask me questions about my research. I know it's pretty odd, but sometimes I don't know how to answer the questions. I suppose this is good practice though for the future, if I ever have presentations where people badger me with questions. Although nobody asked me any questions at this conference, maybe at another conference (if I'm in one), they will. It's just good practice for it.
Also, what really sucked was that right before the presentation, I wasn't feeling well. When I was coming on the bus to come to the Cambell Dome, my stomach was hurting a lot, so much so, that I had to get off of the bus and go to the nearest restroom. I felt like I had to vomit. However, nothing came out. I was still feeling ill, but I knew I had to get to the presentation soon because it was almost time for the show to start. So, I waited for the next bus and called my friend and asked her what I should do to make my stomach feel better. She told me to drink some green tea. So, when I came off the bus, I went to the Student Union and bought some green herbal tea. It was a smart idea, because it really helped me and I felt much better. Lord knows it would have been very embarassing if I had thrown-up last night's dinner right up on stage. Good thing I had drank that tea! But I don't know why I was feeling that way... because I've never gotten like that before I had a presentation, ever. I think that I was just feeling ill, and it turns out that illness hasn't gone away. My stomach has still been hurting ever since then. I suppose it's about time I go to a doctor. But besides this, the conference wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. The presentations by my classmates were really good. I'm just happy that we did it, and that we are done with it. Yay! =)
