I've always had this thing about waves and the ocean...
I'm walking through a large white area that I can best describe as a cross between a a big empty shopping mall and an airport. Everything looks like it's made from glass or plastic and as I'm walking down a corridor and enter a large room that looks like a check-in area. After a while a number of people walk in, they're all blonde and tall. I follow the group of people down some stairs and we enter a room that places us in the middle of a forest- there are others there and they are sitting around the shallow side of a pond.
There’s a woman dressed in hiking garb, she seems to be some official and she's giving us instructions. I’m tying to pay attention but cant make out what she's saying. suddenly a woman in back of me decides to show me a photograph of her 3 children (2 boys and a girl, all blonde). I'm annoyed because I missed the instructions and everyone is dispersing while i still don’t know exactly what's going on.
I gather that we're about to experience a sort of audio-visual interactive "project" titled "a collection of winds". Apparently they have equipment that captures destructive natural forces and recreates them for people to experience. For art? For amusement? i don’t know... i start to wander and the pond transitions into an ocean, winds pick up and the water splashes across my feet, waves are rolling… all I can see is the ocean all around me.
Momentum builds until the waves are crashing over my entire body. I’m exhilarated... but the pressure forces me back until my back hits a wall. I’m standing against the wall as the scene takes on a more ominous vibe. the waves become more violent and i see sea creatures being pushed around by the water. there's a shark that cant get its bearings and it crashes into the wall a few meters away from where I’m standing.
I start panicking and i keep demanding if what I’m experiencing is real... i see a small jeep-like car pull up and the orientation-woman gets out and suddenly I’m on the other side of that wall. i can see the waters tuning more and more violent. Suddenly I see this panoramic shot of the ocean, there's lightening and the waves are stories high. I’m protected the by the glass wall but can see everything from a bird's eye view.
I see a suspension bridge with cars riding on it. There are waves on both sides of the bridge and they begin to cover the cars… the bridge breaks in half and cars fall into the water. Lightening hits the water and steam rises up.
I wake up in a panic convinced that my steam radiator is going to burst.
